Platelet Rich Plasma Therapy

Commonly Used For

How does this procedure work?

A sample of your blood is taken to separate the platelets (which contain growth factors and proteins that are important for regeneration) using a machine. The concentration is then re-injected back into a specific area to accelerate the growth of healthy new cells.

For the treatment of stress urinary incontinence, the PRP concentration is injected into the glands that sit close to the urine tract to promote the growth of tissues that allow you to hold your urine and helps to stop the incontinence.

Recent studies have shown that PRP may be a promising treatment option for Peyronie’s disease, where plaque size, curvature and pain were reduced by at least 50%. PRP can also be used to stimulate circulation and blood flow to the penis, which can help to combat the symptoms of erectile dysfunction.

PRP can also be used to increase sexual pleasure through vaginal and penile rejuvenation. For the former, PRP can be injected around the external vulva and into the internal wall of the vaginal canal to stimulate hydration and reduce dryness. Similarly, PRP injections to the penile region can help to restore the performance, sensitivity and erection quality.

I'd spent a while trying to find a general practitioner in Singapore with some very, very mixed results (although I will admit to being a difficult patient sometimes). Dr. Jess was recommended to me when I suffered an acute condition and I can't believe how lucky I am to have found her when I did. She has that fantastic ability to be both amazingly friendly and approachable whilst still being incredibly knowledgeable, professional and focused on getting the best outcome possible for your health needs at the same time. As someone who has a background history in medical research and teaching medical students, I'm constantly impressed with the way Dr. Jess has always used both trusted, conservative methods whilst also being up to date with new techniques and the latest knowledge, and will research for answers and present it in a manageable, down-to-earth and tailored way - or recommend excellent specialists when required. I cannot recommend her highly enough, and she would be my doctor of choice no matter where I lived in Singapore. Also worth mentioning is that her staff are always very polite, friendly, competent and go out of their way to be helpful. I don't write reviews very often, but five incredibly well deserved stars.

Last week (13th Feb 2020) was my first visit to this clinic. I was very impressed and satisfied with InSync Medical Women's Clinic. Dr. Jess was very attentive and detailed in examining my situation. Her explanation was very clear and understandable. With her patience, I was able to ask lots of questions and understand my situation much better than before. (Thank you, Dr. Jess) Price wise, it is reasonable and I would HIGHLY recommend this clinic. Again, thank you!

Dr Jess is an amazing doctor with a beautiful heart. What I really love about her is that is super realistic. She does not promise rapid/fake results. She is very humble and I really like it that spent her time to talk and explain to me about my condition in detail. I have been to so many other doctors for the same. They will just talk briefly and try to push me to start the treament on the spot / nurses will start discussing on pricing.Wasted my time and money in the wrong clinic before. However, Dr Jess is just different. She is not greedy. Very helpful and high level of professionlism and empathy. And her staff Hani is super sweet too. Customer service top notch. Sometime I send message so late when i need something urgently. Hani will still reply to me patiently. I am so lucky I finally found the best doctor and her assitant for my lady needs 🙂 . I only have one regret-I didnt find them earlier.
